On November 1, the 5th Anniversary Wrestling Festival for the "Tugan Batyr" Prizes took place in Kazan. The event brought together over 400 young wrestlers aged 6 to 15 from across Tatarstan and surrounding regions.
Participants demonstrated their skills in three disciplines:
Grappling (participating cities: Kazan, Ufa, Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Ulyanovsk, and others);
Greco-Roman Wrestling;
Freestyle Wrestling.
The festival became a highlight in the region's sporting life, demonstrating the high level of skill and fighting spirit of young athletes.
The event was attended by numerous distinguished guests, including:
President of the Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ekzam Samatovich Gubaydullin;
First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Khalil Khamitovich Shaikhutdinov;
Ildus Khalikovich Garayev, Chief of Staff of the Anti-Terrorism Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan;
Radik Mukharlyamovich Abdrakhmanov, President of the Tatarstan Grappling Wrestling Federation;
Vladislav Viktorovich Usanov, Head of the Department of Professional and Creative Self-Realization of the Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This festival not only contributed to the development and popularization of wrestling among young people but also strengthened the region's sports community, creating a platform for exchanging experiences and meeting future sports stars.
The "Tugan Batyr" sports festival is held with the support of the Anti-Terrorism Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan.
