The animation project "Tugan Batyr" won a double victory, winning the main prize of the Kazan Film Festival "Altyn Minbar"
The animation almanac "Tugan Batyr" by director Natalia Nilova, recently released in all-Russian cinemas, was awarded the highest award in the nomination "Best Film of the National Competition for Children" at the XXI Kazan International Film Festival of Muslim Cinema "Altyn Minbar".
This victory is the second for the project this summer, confirming its success with viewers and critics. The multi-layered world of the project, interesting for both children and adults, shows that a real hero is someone who acts with an open heart and is always ready to help others. The story reveals how the hero overcomes difficulties, learns to accept responsibility and perform actions worthy of a real batyr.
Tatar animation continues to conquer new heights. The project "Tugan Batyr", created for family viewing, was noted by the jury of the authoritative festival for its deep elaboration of national color, the universality of the fairy-tale plot and high artistic quality.
"We put our hearts and souls into this project, and we see how the viewers reciprocate - their emotions and responses are worth a lot," says director Natalya Nilova.
The almanac consists of four short stories, each of which is a complete story. The film tells the story of the young hero Tugan, who confronts insidious villains and protects his native village. On his way, he meets mythical creatures of Turkic folklore, and many of them become loyal friends. The film immerses the viewer in a world where reality is intertwined with a fairy tale, and the themes of friendship, courage and love for loved ones resonate with viewers of all ages.
"For our entire team, this victory is a great honor and recognition of the work of many people who put their hearts into this project," comments the project's founder and general producer Radik Abrahmanov. "It is especially valuable that our project received high praise on the Kazan land, in the heart of Tatar culture. We created "Tugan Batyr" with love for the national epic and the belief that it is important for modern children to understand: circumstances create heroes, and heroes create circumstances."
Earlier this summer, the cartoon already won the "Karakuz Film" festival in the "Best Animated Film" category, which proved its popularity not only among critics, but also among a wide audience.
At the moment, work is underway to prepare the project for a large-scale release. The rental history of "Tugan Batyr" is just beginning, but now the animated almanac is waiting for its viewers in Russian cinemas, and soon - in the format of a television series on leading TV channels and digital platforms.
